K, this scrapbook never happened unfortunately. I still have all the papers and everything. I keep everything and Pam wrote this, so I thought I would share it. Hopefully, Pam doesn't mind.
On this fateful day of September, 60 grade seven students walked into the doors of St. Francis Xavier. Each face wore a different expression. Some were nervously biting their lips while others were already talking 1000 words per minute, caught up in the excitement of seeing each other after a long time. Chatter about summer experiences filled the halls and a mysterious feeling filled the air. It was a special mixture of excitement and nervousness, full of hope, that only a new group of people entering a new phase of their lives can bring. These were the unsure excited grade sevens of 2005-2006 271 days ago. Today, 271 days later, we look back to our 271 days in grade seven and realize that those unsure faces we had that day are gone. We have long entered this new phase in our lives as teenagers - making new friends, conquering difficulties and learning new things, and our faces now hold satisfaction in the year that was and new hope for the years that will be. It wasn't a perfect year and we weren't a perfect group, but together we've learned the true essence of being free to what we want to be and we look forward to our 271 more days of grade eigth before high school. Well, let's wait and seewhat life will bring us and give life what we can give it.
Sigh. Those were the days.
